According to the rules of poker, each player must bet before the cards are dealt. In the later stages of tournaments, when ANTE betting is introduced, this system is popular in classic five-card poker. The second option is that only the two players sitting to the left of the dealer make bets. Such a system exists in Texas poker.
All bets are divided into voluntary and mandatory bets. The pot is created by mandatory bets. Free bets depend on the player’s decision: he can support the hand, raise the bet or leave the game.
Blinds, which means “blind”, are bets that players make blindly before the cards are dealt.
If a player bets next, meaning he supports any bet, he chooses whether to show cards at the end or not.
A player may discard his cards without revealing them if he has supported a bet and lost.
When cards are revealed, they are shown in turn based on who placed the highest bet in the previous hand. If a player goes “forward”, the cards are necessarily revealed.
Types of blinds: the small blind The small blind is the first player to the left of the dealer. In most cases, he bets half as much as the big blind following him.
The big blind. The player to the left of the small blind He bets the lowest bet in the game, which is twice as much as the player who previously bet.
The next step is to receive two cards, after which you must evaluate your position at the table and decide whether to continue or stop playing. At this point, the bidding begins, which serves as the basis of the entire gameplay.
You can call the bet by selecting “CALL” if you are sitting right behind the blinds and have good cards. In this case, the bet will be equal to the previous blind. You can continue to play if you call.

You can raise your bet. This is called a “raise.” Raises are done in order to get extra money in the pot. When you have good cards, a raise is appropriate. In some strategies, a “raise” is used when there is concern that the value of the cards will drop on the next betting round to remove as many players as possible from the hand.
Players with small “pocket pairs” usually do this. Sometimes they make a “raiser” simply in the hope that everyone will drop their cards so they can take the entire pot at once. Professionals usually only go in with a “raise” or not at all; they just go all in and discard their cards without paying anything into the pot.
“All in” is the biggest bet. This type of bet is also known as a “all-in” bet. In poker, the “check” bet is zero. It only applies to the next round of betting when the dealer opens the bidding.
You may choose to check if you are not happy with the table. The bidding round continues. If no one after you bids higher, you see the next card for free. Sometimes people choose to “check” with a good card in the hope that someone will then go for a raise. In this case, you can increase your bet again as a response. In poker, this strategy is called a “check-raise”.
